My planners

My planner is one of those simple ring binder journals you can pick up from any stationery shop.

I fill the pages with daily to do lists including housework, shopping, Elliot’s baby routine as it changes throughout his growth and development stages, and ideas for upcoming events or family days out.

I have a separate spreadsheet planner for collaborations and freelance writing deadlines.

Staying Organised

I do find it hard to keep track of our weekly schedule. Baby sensory, group pram walks, park play dates, grocery shopping, tidying up, paying bills, remembering appointments and so on.

I use an old fashioned wall hanging calendar to keep me on track and to help the week run smoothly.

Travel Tips

I’m yet to travel with Elliot. My years of experience in the travel industry have taught me that planning and organising is essential to a smooth trip.

From choosing the right type of suitcase, having a lightweight stroller, preparing the correct paperwork and insurance to having a choice of toys and activities. It all helps by thinking ahead and not having to rush at the last minute.

There are hundreds of tips out there on how to fly with kids, what to pack, camping ideas, where to go and what to see.
